INDIANAPOLIS – (PRESS RELEASE) – Be Nimble Foundation, a 501(c)(3) soial enterprise creating fully diverse and inclusive tech ecosystems, announces its inaugural Black Innovation Week presented by Morgan Stanley and BC Forward, kicking off on Monday, July 19, and culminating in the organization’s sold-out Garden Pardi fundraiser on Saturday, July 24.

During Black Innovation Week, Be Nimble Foundation will highlight Black tech leaders making an impact and award grants to the most innovative creatives in the city. Black Innovation Week carves out time to celebrate, honor and ignite the community the organization is serving and building.

“Our Black Innovation Week events are a testimony to the hard work and innovation that Black creatives, leaders and entrepreneurs contribute to the tech space in Indianapolis and throughout the state,” said Kelli Jones, co-founder of Be Nimble and managing partner at Sixty8 Capital. “We believe in creating a safe space where Black professionals can network, celebrate Black excellence, and advocate for themselves and others, with the understanding that similar networking events don’t always offer the same level of accessibility to our communities,” says Be Nimble co-founder Jeff Williams.

Black Innovation Week will feature educational panels, discussions, and networking opportunities for professionals in the tech industry. With the exception of Garden Pardi,  Pardiway, and RNB Houseparty, all events during Black Innovation Week are free and open to the public, but RSVP is required.
